Base metal? There is no 'base metal', as it's stainless steel, not a plated alloy...
I have no idea if the color can wear off. It all depends on how it's colorized, I guess. I'm sure one could find out by researching it. That's how I usually satisfy my own curiosities... =)

Not sure when they will actually end. They all usually end with the GIN option being used, and then I do a 10 day relist. For instance, the gold ended 9 and 24 hours ago, the 4mm just 9 hours ago, and the 6mm just 21 hours ago... =)
