Questions & Comments
Very cool. Do you know what it was originally used for? thanks! :)
I have no clue. If I were to guess I would say bracelets. These are the only ones like this I have ever come across and I buy losts of vintage findings. I have 5 different pictures to choose from. This is the picture I have more of, the other pictures I am letting maybe 5 of each go because I have so few. These are like unused vintage stock. I would dare to guess 70's or prior in date. I have never tried to research them. Thank you for your interest.
mam they are actually candle holder from the late 50, they are thanksgiving decor for the table! the two hole on each side is to place a stand threw to set up like a tee pee there were only about 25,000 set,s made! they are made of brass and painted with enamel over the paint! reason only 25,000 were made the plant burned down! your friend john!
Thanks so much John you have answered everyone's question including mine. That is quite interesting, I thought they were probably used you jewelry. I thank you for taking the time to give us the information on these, I really appreciate it a lot!
I was going to guess bracelets too. I also collect vintage odds and ends and trinkets, and I've never seen anything like these. Very cool. Good luck with your auction! :)
