Thats right folks its the sultan of swat Mark McGwire's Rarest Rookie Card.
This rookie card is the orginal and not a reprint.
This is the top dollar Mark McGwire Rookie Card out there in the hobby.
Reads 1984 USA Baseball because he played for the 84 Team but the card is from the 1985 set.
Look it up its the only McGwire Rookie listed.
Noticed what might be a light scratch on the card.
Not sure if its a shadow of a scratch on the hard acrylic reflecting on the card.
No matter what angle I hold it it looks in place.
It might be noticed on the 2nd front image of the card on the right white border going up and down.
This card has been in this screw down holder since 1985 and I'm not about to open it to find out.
Risking the chance of damaging the card to find out it was just a shadow isn't worth it to me.
I lowered the GIN as a precaution just incase it is a minor defect.
Its very faint if it is.
Other than that the card is in very good condition see pics.
A must have in any collection.
