This box set combines material from both the big and small screens, all of it centered around Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous and beloved sleuth, Sherlock Holmes. The collection includes all 39 episodes of the 1954-55 syndicated television series THE ADVENTURES OF SHERLOCK HOLMES, starring Ronald Howard as the titular detective and Howard Marion-Crawford as Dr. Watson. Also included are four feature film mysteries: MURDER AT THE BASKERVILLES (1937), THE SIGN OF FOUR (1932), THE WOMAN IN GREEN (1945), and THE TRIUMPH OF SHERLOCK HOLMES (1935). All star Arthur Wontner as Holmes except for THE WOMAN IN GREEN, where Basil Rathbone takes the lead.
