The listing, GORGEOUS ANTIQUE TEA POT COZY has ended.

I bought this from an estate sale about 5 years ago. The owners were entering an assisted living facility at that time. There were no tags anywhere on it, but I really believe it's embroidered silk. This cozy will come with several of my favorite flavors of tea! I Love this piece of history! I WILL CONSIDER ADDING A GIN IF OFFER IS AT LEAST 15000!

Nice! I know this is Chinese Silk Embroidery on silk. Probably from the 40's,it was real big then. Probably done by hand-the bead work most definately is- the thread itself is also silk and the metallic thread is really very fine metal. That stuff is tough to work with as it likes to knot back on itself! It's been lovingly cared for as I don't see any steam marks on the interior. Really lovely-if it were mine I'd have a hard time letting t go! Oh-the beads are most likely Bohemian glass.
