This is a Hot wheels Radar Gun. You can zoom a car across the floor and check it's speed. Check the speed of someone on a bike zooming by or maybe a car.

It works, if it is the right speed i don't know. It was given to me as a gag gift. I said i would like a radar detector because of the cars flying by the house.
it has a radio Freq. of 10.525 ghz. i don't know what you RC car has. Hope this helps.
