Can I just add the scents to the oil in my lamp? Sorry, don't know a better way to ask that question?

Yes, if it is an aroma lamp or oil warmer..I use these to refresh an old candle or potpourri and I also add it to existing wax or oils in my warmer. Hope that helps ya & GL if bidding :)
