I would think you could purchase from Amazon with either, or they would convert the currency when you register the gift code. Amazon must ship to Canada!

They have amazon.ca for us Canadians. But they will ship to Canada if you use the .com too. I haven't looked into using Amazon yet!!

Oh Amazon is really great to use. And usually the prices are VERY competitive. One thing I discovered with gift cards is that unless you are buying from Amazon directly (free super saver shipping available) the gift cards don't apply. You also can't buy another gift card with a gift card balance.

I'm saving up on Amazon to buy my daughter a new Mac computer next year. I think I'll be able to accumulate a large enough balance to pay for the entire thing (and those are SO expensive), unless I spend it all on Xmas gifts! If I do that, I'll just have to start over again!

You can do the same thing with Walmart cards, put a gift card on your online Walmart account and accumulate them, but only five cards at a time. I don't think Amazon has any limit.
