The benefit of the fan is that it keeps the console from overheating due to either: where you store it not being well ventilated or when you have it up and running for an excessively long time. It takes the stress off the console.

I'm new at this. Had I known what I was doing I would have listed the item with a minimum bid, but I don't know how to do that, so there you have it at bottom points.
