Description

The listing, Vintage Barbie Doll Record Player with Speaker 50's - 60's (felt on turntable) has ended.

This is a vintage 1950's or 1960's Barbie Record Player! This is a black plastic record player box with silver and aqua details. It has green felt on the turntable. There are no moving parts. The side speaker is cool, it is attached by a string and can be out of the record player box, or it can be stored inside the black plastic box, in its own special compartment. The record player measures approx. 1.5" wide x 1.75" deep. It is marked "JAPAN" on the bottom. This was found in an old box of ALL 1950's-1960's Barbie accessories, many of which I now have up for auction on Listia! Thank you for bidding! :)

Now this is fun!!! I had 1 of these when I was a kid-until my big sister took it back! Yes it was hers but still.......... If memory serves this came on a card with a groovy little pedal-pushers outfit. Great Barbie gear all around but this one is my favorite! I'll be e-mailing a few hard core collectors I know-Good Luck!

You're awesome and your story is hilarious! Just in case you didn't see them, I've also listed a bunch of other cool vintage Barbie items too! Ken's sports equipment, binoculars with case, Barbie's original astronaut helmet, doctor's bag with stethoscope (you saw already), a COOL old Barbie TV. (The stereo is definitely my favorite!!) They are all from the late 50's and early 60's. I do still have some more at home, but as you can imagine, it's hard to part with some of them! I have 3 daughters, but it's ALL about Monster High for them! It kills me! LOL! :) Susan

Thank you so much for your kind words!! I WISH my daughters were interested in these cool Barbie miniature accessories!! I had a small antiques shop years ago, and boxed up all of my items when my kids were born. Now unpacking them all, as well as other vintage toy LOTS that I've acquired over the years, I hoped they'd think these vintage toys are as cool as I think they are! But, nope. Not interested! LOL! So, I'm trading them in for "cool" stuff like Monster High dolls!! ACK!!! Well, Monster High dolls are cool too, in their own special way! And thank you for the wonderful warm breeze from Canada, it feels great! :) So nice to make friends on Listia! :)
