This great small appliance makes 5 cakesicles! Just add your cake batter, 1 Tablespoon per cake, and in about 2 minutes you will have baked yourself a cake on a stick! Package includes sticks so you will be ready to go. I have only opened the box to verify that it contains the item listed, other than that, this is a brand new item. Enjoy!

Is it dishwasher safe or how do you clean it?

It is one that you would just wipe down. It is not safe to put in the dishwasher since it is an electrical appliance. It is new so I do not have personal experience but I have a doughnut maker that is the same brand and I just wipe it off and it is surprisingly easy to clean. Thanks for the interest!
