FREE: Vintage Ceramic Scottie Dogs

The listing, Vintage Ceramic Scottie Dogs has ended.

Pair of ceramic Scottie Dog nick-knacks. I believe both are vintage, as I bought them together. Only the larger one is dated. Apparently bought as a souvenir, someone wrote Monrovia, Calif. 1938 and #47 on the bottom in permanent ink. There is a red stamp on the larger dog that says "Made in Japan". The smaller dog has no markings, other than some "J"s that are done in ink on the bottom of the feet. The bottom of his feet also appear to have some glue on them. Not a repair, but maybe from being glued to cardstock at the store? Larger dogs is 3.5" long, smaller dog is just over 2" long. Larger dog has one foot that has been glued/repaired. (I never noticed it until looking closely today). Larger dog also has removable collar. Maybe vinyl?

The auction is as posted. I will not be changing it to a GIN. I will not be lowering the starting bid, or number of days, as I am putting out a lot of money on free shipping and tracking and want there to be ample time for people to see my auctions.

I mail out on Mondays (Tuesday if a holiday) from a local mail center. Books & DVDs will be going media rate if it is the less expensive choice, so they take approx. 8-12 days to arrive after being mailed. I add confirmation to my auctions (hasn't stopped some from trying to claim they never received items).

I only ship to Listia verified addresses.
