This is a what you see is what you get auction! This RAM was bought by me for another person and they told me the wrong type so I have had this sitting here ever since. I can't use this in my own computer and don't have the parts up for building another right now so my loss is your gain!
If I recall right I paid somewhere around 30.00 for these. I have kept them stored in antistatic bag and wrapped in bubble wrap and will ship them very securely to avoid any damage in mailing them.
To my knowledge these should both work perfectly but since I can not test them I will have to say as is on these though I am quite sure you will have no problems with them.

what kinda computer do they go to or are they from? Could I just push them into place?

I bought them new I got them for a friend who had a compaq computer but they were the wrong kind. You would have to make sure this is the right kind for them to work on your computer. and yes they do just push into place. but if you dont know exactly which kind your computer wont work unless they are the right ones.

Checking the HP part number shows that they are ECC. To be used almost 100% of the time in servers only. Most desktops use non-ECC.
Still it's great to have a pair around if you are a tech.

I know they are ecc if they were not i would have used them i my own computer. The DDR or SDRAM stands for double density or single density which is a whoe separat thing than whether it is ecc or not but thanks for the info.

You would need to look at the ones in your machine to see if this is the kind you have check for the label on the sticks or look at the specifications for your emachine and see if it tells you the exact type you have to know if this is the right kind.
