Picture 1 shows the 9 coins of the British Empire, all minted during the reigns of King George VI, father of Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Elizabeth II. The individual coin pictures are shown in the order of the coin's size, & the 1st picture of each coin shows the sovereign who was reigning at the time of the coin's minting.
Pictures 2 and 3 show the 1943 copper Australian 1 Penny coin in VF condition with light wear. It is about the size of a half dollar.
Pictures 4 and 5 show the 1940 Jamaican 1 Penny made from nickel-brass in VF with light wear. There is some staining and scratching near King George VI's eye.
Pictures 6 and 7 show the 1951 Hong Kong 50 cents coin, in nickel-brass in EF condition although there is some scratching on the sovereign side of the coin.
Pictures 8 and 9 show the 1962 English shilling in cupronickel, in VF condition with light to medium wear.
Pictures 10 and 11 show the 1950 Malaya 20 cents coin, in cupronickel VF condition with light to medium wear.
Pictures 12 and 13 show the 1990 Bermuda 5 cents coin, in copper-nickel in F condition, although there is rim damage on both sides of the coin and some scratching.
Pictures 14 and 15 show the 1977 Cayman Islands 10-cent piece, made from copper-nickel in F condition.
Pictures 16 and 17 show the 1955 South African 1/4 penny, minted in bronze, in VF-EF condition with some of its original luster. However, there are some black stains on the non-sovereign side of the coin.
Pictures 18 and 19 show the 1943 Canadian 80% silver dime, in VG condition, which contains 0.06 oz. pure silver, and which has some staining due to the silver content.
