alpaca silver is not any type of silver at all...it's a light alloy metal of nickel, zinc and copper.....it doesn't tarnish and keeps it's color as long as it's not worn every day...it's more of costume jewelry!!! thanks for asking and i apologize for not putting that in the auction....i copied and pasted and forgot to add that!! blessings to you too!!! :)
