Is it really 3" wide? I ask only because the width of my hand not including thumb is only 2 1/2" Very pretty though! What size is it? May consider bidding on it for a gift. :)

Yes it is new. it has a stretch band as you can see in the pics. it will fit 7, 8, 9 or maybe even 10 comfortably.
