I don't know why I didn't study the photograph on eBay and see that it was latop memory instead of desktop because I wanted desktop memory not laptop :-<. Oh well...

Thanks but it is laptop memory. I didn't make that clear enough apparently. I wanted desktop memory but got laptop.

Yes, if your laptop has a tiny door (usually in the middle on the bottom of the machine, you take the one screw out to access the memory. There are usually 2 slots opposite each. It's actually easier than desktop computer memory replacement. Of course you must not touch the gold plated contacts if you can avoid it and touch a metal piece inside your laptop once you get the memory door open, so as to ground your yourself to prevent static electricity from being transferred to the memory.
