These are actually not DVCAM tapes, which are larger and for pro cameras. These are for smaller vid cams - like Canon GL2 and such, which is what I used them for. These are $6 each at Best Buy for the plain black ones, colored like these are more, here is a link:

It's possible, depends on the model? You would have to check out what kind of tapes it takes, these are pretty standard though.
