A mini perfume is bottled like the full size and is larger than a sample. I usually only get mini's because of their price and they seem to last a couple months.
As for the scent, it is light enough to layer and works for almost everybody. I have a guy friend that uses it in the morning, spraying it on his towels prior to drying off.
