Description

The listing, Gerbera Daisy Seeds WHITE has ended.

This listing is for approximately 50 seeds. This daisy is WHITE.

Gerbera Daisies are easy to grow. They're disease resistant. My plants are well established and very healthy.most people think you have to replant daisies every year. Mine have been in the ground going on 4 years. I live in Southeastern NC. Mine winter over well, I just cover them with pine straw when it's time for the first frost, and uncover them in the spring once the danger of frost has passed.

If you live in a colder area, you can dig up the roots and store them in pot indoors. Water the roots sparingly( once every two weeks or so- just enough to keep it alive), and then replant in spring. They will look pretty rough, but don't worry, as long as the root is alive, the plant will return!

I fertilize my daisies just twice a year, once in early spring, and again in mid-summer. I give them iron water evey two weeks to keep them healthy. I harvest the seeds myself, and dry them in a sunny place. Then I store them in a bag with a few rice grains to keep the moisture away. So my seeds will not be moldy or mildewed. You'll recieve top-notch seeds from me every time!! To plant them: sow them in a seed starting tray. Keep the cover on until the sprouts are a half inch over the soil. I love peat pellets for daisies! You can do those if you wish. Be careful not to overwater, as its easy to drown them. Once they get 2-3 inches tall, you can then pot them or plant them. Mine bloom from late feb/early march through mud-November! (If you're in a cooler climate, they will start later and finish sooner).
