I'm still trying to confirm buckeye, because he mentions an 1881 date when this date is an 1860 with an A mint mark. Trying to confirm where the A mint mark indicates where this was minted.
https://www.google.com/search?q=1860+A+austrian+coin&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=UIeSUfi0GcLA4AOe9oDoDg&ved=0CE4QsAQ&biw=1024&bih=643 ... this site has a picture on the fourth row matching the 1 denomination 1860 A ... so I agree it is a kreuzer, but I've never been able to find out exactly where the A was minted. this same site has a picture of a mint mark B in each of the first 3 rows before you can see the A version in row 4. I do know that C, E, and G are the rare mint marks, and A is one of the more common ones.
