The listing, Huge comic book auction!! has ended.
Awesome lot of comics from my personal collection. All in great condition. The first one pictured is one of the original Avengers comics. The other special one in this lot is the second pictured. It is a limited release mini comic that I got from WonderCon. You will never see another auction like this again! As always, free shipping in the US.
Questions & Comments
Pretty steep Gin there...I think an appropriate Gin would be 10k
While I do agree the GIN is high, it is that high mainly because of the first comic pictured. 10K is way too low for a comic book lot of this quality. Plus now that someone has bid I can't change it anyways. In the future you may way to keep your diminutive comments to yourself and instead ask nicely for a lower GIN. Thanks for looking and I still hope to see you bidding.
Is the front and back cover for the Avengers comic attached to the spine? Is it free of writing and all pages are intact? Are the pages white or yellow? Very, very interested in that comic, but unsure how much high I want to go just from one pic of it...Thanks-Russ
Thank you for your question. I will admit that the Avengers comic is in poorer condition than the rest of the lot. I have only taken it out of the hard case plastic that it is in once to take a look at the back. As far as I can tell all the pages are attached to the spine. However, there may be some light yellowing of certain pages. And I didn't see any writing anywhere but I didn't look at all the pages. Hope that helps and please let me know if you have further queries about the comics.
Avengers #5 is worth about $20 in that condition, so 10K would be too low. I sold my CGC graded Avengers #1 for a $1,000 profit a couple years ago, but it's doubled in value since then. The popularity of the movies has really made these books hot.
Thank you for your comment rictor. I actually got the Avengers comic for $35 at a local comic shop. Although I probably paid a little more than it is really worth since I thought it was just awesome it existed.
Great Comics! Great Auction! I wish you luck. Of course I will be watching, who wouldn't when it comes to Silver Age! I may be bidding. I also fanned you. Thanks, Joe
I'm sorry kalenthechefhill but once someone has bid on the item I am unable to change the GIN. But feel free to bid and who knows, maybe you will win. Good luck!
