This Bead Art Kit is designed for children ages 8 and up since it requires some fine motor skills. Younger children will have a great deal of fun with it if they are working with an adult. It is a GREAT bonding activity for a child as young as 5 when working with an adult.
The box has been opened but all the components are intact. There are 8 art kits included. The book that comes with the kit has a total of 32 different art projects, so supplies and raw materials can easily be replenished from a hobby/craft store such as Jo-anns or Michaels, or online, and many other places. The supplies are inexpensive. If the children are creative, they will create their own designs once they have mastered the basics shown in this kit's book.
The box itself serves as a workstation with a work tray built into it.
The starter keychain bead art kits included are:
Fred the Frog, Groovin' Guitar, Wingin' It (butterfly),
High Flying Kite, In 'Plane' Site (airplane), Shipshape (sailboat), Heartbreaker (heart), and Superscoops (ice cream cone). There are a total of 32 designs in the book so there are lots of opportunities to perfect the technique!
Since the finish products are keychains, a child can make these as gifts for friends and family members!
