What can I say about this item? It's certainly different! : -). I doubt it's ever been on a ship, but it's a neat little conversation starter for the den or man cave, or how 'bout on your pontoon boat?? I found this at a flea market the other day, and just had to buy it to share with my fellow Listians! It's so unusual. At least, I've never seen one like it before. It has a compass behind the wheel, and the wheel spins! It's all brass, and should clean up good as new. I didn't clean it in case you're like me and prefer the natural look of things. (besides, my allergies won't let me use harsh chemicals). I have no earthly idea what it's worth, if anything, so I'm going to start the bidding for enough to help cover my shipping expenses on it. This is a "must have" for those who love oddities or nautical items. It stands 6 1/2" tall from the wheel grip to table, and is 5 1/4" in diameter. You'll love this little doo-dad to pieces! (I'm putting up a Canon Desktop Stapler this evening, that would be killer with this!)
