The listing, Customized Hogwarts Acceptance Letter has ended.
Hi guys. I've done this before and it turned out pretty well. Up for bidding is a personalized acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I can put your name on it or your child's, friend's, any Harry Potter lover, actually. I'll even make the letters on the envelope fancy if you request it. I've been practicing my calligraphy. If you want the whole letter written in ink, it might be very difficult and a little messy. I'm comfortable with signatures though but if you don't mind it being a little messy, I can try to write the whole letter in ink. Otherwise it will be printed in fancy font on fancy tea-dyed paper.
Questions & Comments
I started doing this a year and a half ago and Listia almost suspended me!Just a warning(PS:Either you copied me or we had the same idea :) lolSeriously I sugget you delete this!
My first time listing this was March 20th 2012 and I got 303 credits for it. I don't think its against the rules. And if it is, nobody stopped me the first time I did it. lol :)
I agree with Viviana3, I had the same thing happen. I had a Harry Potter Party (one of the componants was a Hogwarts acceptance letter) auction up and no one bid, so I re-listed two more times. The second re-list, Listia deleted it and warned me that it was against the rules and if I did it again, they would suspend my account. Friendly warning, that's all. If they don't notice, good for you.
Also, FYI, to mail a regular letter to the Netherlands, is about $2.50, $3.00. If you go to usps.com you can calculate prices. I use it all the time to price my shipments.
