The listing, Plastic Canvas Grape Kitchen Theme (6) has ended.
Winner will receive 6 printed patterns via email for the Grape Kitchen theme...none are of my design...am trying to help save the craft from dying out completely
You can say what you want...but you and the other designers are ruining the craft for everyone else...and if you dont want them shared, then dont post them on the internet...we crafters are the ones that are keeping the craft alive and you designers are just money hungry and nothing more to complain about...you "designers" are just upset cause you are not getting anymore monies from it...
I do not want to craft to die out either, if it does I will be left with nothing to do, hehehe. I get alot of pleasure from this craft and have been doing it for over 25 years. It is good to see ladies like you trying to keep it going. God Bless you. Watching
ty...i have been doing it since i was 6 and that was over 31 years ago...lol...i dont want it to either...and i will be adding more pattern lots later in the week...thank you so much and bless you too
I have also been at this craft for 35+ years. I still enjoy it and do not want to see it go away. There are some Plastic Canvas groups on facebook. If you are interested in joining send me a message and I will give you the links for them.
i am in a few of them there and just have to be careful what you post there cause of the trolls that like to report all the time...i find it relaxing and love it :)
Plastic canvas is awesome, I enjoy the craft, and the things I learned, I learned from my Mom who has done it for 30 plus years. I'm not the best at it, but I keep going and my projects end up turning out well. I just keep trying and practicing, and I don't want to see this craft die out.
ty...so glad to help :)...i would give them all away for free, but i see so much cool stuff on here that i would like to have but being on limited income, makes things hard...
I can totally understand, I am on limited income myself, I am on SSD. My husband works, but still making ends meet can be tough, but doing things like plastic canvas does help quite a bit. You seem like such a kind person to do what you do here at Listia!
I'm just getting into doing plastic canvas and have a question. What do you use is it floss or yarn or can you use both? I won a pattern of a bear in an army uniform I want to try to make for my son who did 4 tours of duty and I don't want to mess it up. Your work is so beautiful!
i have used both floss and yarn, depending on if it is 7ct-means 7holes per inch-i use yarn, if it is 10ct or 14 count, i use floss...but for outlining items to give them more character, i use 2 strands of floss like you would for cross stitch...hope this helps you out
I think it helps like I said I'm just getting started. I'm not 100% clear on all the terms as far as stitches go but yes it helps and thank you so much for answering!
