The listing, 6 Old American Coins 3 90%/35% Silver: Quarter Dime Nickel + V Nickel Buffalo Indian Head has ended.
6 old American coins up for bid, ranging in date from 1902 to 1951. Picture 1 shows the lot.
Pictures 2 and 3 show the 1951 90% silver Washington Quarter in VG+. Coin has a strong date, good lettering, excellent rims on obverse, very good rims on reverse with minor bleeding into lettering. Does not meet F criteria because feathers on eagle's breast are not present.
Pictures 4 and 5 show the 90% silver 1917 Mercury Dime, in AG condition. Rims bleed heavily on both sides of the coin, especially the reverse. Noticeable ding at 10:00 on obverse, 3 small dings on reverse between 8:00 & 10:00.
Pictures 6 and 7 show the 1904 Indian Head in VG condition with parts of LIBERTY faintly showing on obverse. Very nice rims and coin detail, but has a slight "bent in" area at 7:00 on obverse, and a tiny rim ding at 7:00 on the reverse.
Pictures 8 and 9 show the 1902 Liberty Head V nickel, grading a solid G. No LIBERTY shows, but date is very strong, while lettering on reverse is quite faint in places (picture does not really show it because of too much light), but all lettering except UNUM is present on reverse. There is a scratch at 2:00 on the reverse.
Pictures 10 and 11 show the 1936 Buffalo Head nickel in VG+ condition; the coin is not at F level because of rim bleeds into LIBERTY on the obverse. About 1/2 of horn is showing, although there are 3 noticeable scratches on the reverse.
Pictures 12 and 13 show the 1943-S 35% silver Jefferson war nickel in VG. The second porch pillar from the right is virtually gone. The coin has very good rims.
