Last year at this time you were so little that you just don’t remember it. So, let me introduce myself, because I will be a part of your life for a very long time. My name is Santa Claus and I live in the North Pole with my wife, Mrs. Claus along with hundreds of elves and a very nice herd of reindeer. We are very magical here. The little elves stay busy year around making gifts for all the children all over the world for Christmas. My herd of reindeer takes turns leading me and the gifts in my sleigh to deliver them on Christmas Eve. They fly! Can you believe it? There are 8 of them and with the magic of Christmas believers; I can deliver gifts to every home while the children are asleep.
Mrs. Claus bakes us lots of cookies for the ride to get us started, but we usually need plenty more to keep us going. Children most often will leave a small plate of cookies and a glass of milk for me, some leave carrots for the reindeer, but I know for a fact, they prefer the cookies! When I return home, we all think about the looks of surprise on your face on Christmas morning opening that special gift I left for you. It brings us all such joy!
I know that you are on your way to becoming a wonderful little B/G. Remember Christmas is about what is in your heart: love, sharing and family.
