You are bidding on 3 well-rooted yarrow (achillea) plants. They grow 2-3' high. A native wildflower. Native Americans used it to staunch the flow of blood. Perennial--reappears every year. Drought tolerant. Can cut the long stems, hang upside down and dry for flower arranging. The bloom color is white.
I will be offering live plants only in the fall while it's cool enough to ship.

Short answer: prefers full sun. Won't get as large in shade, but it still thrives. A hardy native that has lasted through a lot of history and change.
It is planted in gardens and natural landscaping settings of diverse climates and styles. They include native plant, drought-tolerant, and wildlife gardens. The plant is a frequent component of butterfly gardens. The plant prefers well-drained soil in full sun, but can be grown in less ideal conditions.

You will receive the plants NOW. They need to go in the ground and get lots of water to establish a good root system. I had a blond moment. What I meant to say was I only ship in the fall (not heat of summer) when it's cooler to ship. My fault.
