NO BIDDING NEEDED--This info is FREE!!!!

Many New LIstians make the mistake of shipping in plain letter envelopes
& end up in disputes when the post office loses or damages their item.
Lista has tips on safe shipping!

hhttp://www.listia.com/support/topic/tips4?from=4

"Securely Package Item(s): A seller is fully responsible for securely packaging and shipping the item to ensure against damage or loss from normal shipping practices. A common mistake is placing small items in a regular white letter envelope. If the item is fragile or delicate, such as jewelry, avoid placing it in an envelope which can be harmed or damaged during delivery. Envelopes may only be used if the item inside is flexible and can be sent through a sorting machine. Be sure to package your item safely and accordingly, to prevent any damages or loss. "

Hope this helps!

Exactly!!! I received and empty torn envelope from someone once and I bid fairly high to win the blanks....that was her excuse. It was so torn, the PO had to put the envelope in another one to give to me...This is a small town, so they take care of things...the Sender was not going to give me my credits, but in my dispute I copied LISTIA rules....I LOVE THIS ..Thanks JRISSELL

My next auction will be how to file a dispute, how to post a picture of your package and more. We need to know what to do when a package is damaged. What choices we have. Thank you for posting.
