I've had some problems in the past with underaged kids. My cousin, who is also on Listia offers make-up sometimes and the kids are very attracted to that. She has complained to Listia regarding this problem.

I have seen alot of makeup tutorials from kids that are 9-12,it's crazy! Call me old fashioned, but my daughter(who is also on here)was NOT allowed to wear makeup or dress like they do at these ages =/ Where i went to school if you had any makeup,nail polish or hair spray in hair they took you to the bathroom & remedied it for you. lol I have complained too,sometimes to no avail~*

Times have really changed. Maybe if Listia required better verification...besides facebook then that would eliminate the kids. The freebie 500 credits should be earned after a few positive feedbacks from auctions..those free credits attract kids and also adults that don't want to do anything.

They sure have...sigh~* I know what you mean,they make it easy for honest people to get scammed & half the time don't do anything about it. They said they rely on us to flag/report people to them,but when i reported this person that won my shampoo auction for having 2 profiles they closed case & she still has both! Why? I think she was scamming me & even bought another one,paid $10 w/ship then paid to have shipped to her & was rude & wanted credits back. RIDICULOUS

That is ashame re: that member who took advantage of you. Do you remember the I.d.s I will block and flag. I think Listia needs to see lots of complaints before they act....anyplace else they would be off the site. It appears they do nothing on a few complaints or just don't have enough staff members.
