Here we have my last 4gb mp3 player / flash drive / flashlight device from Sylvania.

It features a soft but sturdy body made of various plastics. There is a flashlight on the end with the strap
which is good for locating the keyhole in your apt. or car and to light up a very small area ... it "just" works ... :)

There's an earphone jack for headphones (ear-buds are included, but you are advised to get your own headset, those are better than the buds, imho).

There's a USB port for file transfers, as well as a hole
for the built-in mic, which gives the possibility of recording voice memos or other audio. it works. :).

The unit also has a color-changing screen that has a number of different back-lighting options, and some settings you can change - as well as some EQ presets.

You can delete songs on the player without hooking up to a computer. :)

The player can work as just a flash drive if you don't wish to deal with the menus, but the player's an added bonus, in my book !

With 4gb of storage, you should be able to store at least 400-500 songs, or more, depending on the bit rate.

I'm more of an iTunes guy, so I don't sync with Windows Media Player, so your mileage may vary.

It doesn't deal with too many folders very well, and I will
email you some hints if need be, but the device has the
instruction booklet, so that should help somewhat.

The player uses one AAA (Triple-A) battery, and I've tested rechargeable batteries in there, and they work fine - but not as long as a standard one (obviously). :)

To store files, just drag and drop with your favorite
media player or file manager. Also, don't forget to use the "remove hardware" icon to disconnect the drive or you could corrupt (or damage) the flash ...
