I'm honestly not sure what it's made of. It's silver plated, not real silver, and it is as strong as any other chain. It is new, but that is all I can tell you about it.

Silver plated is good I won't complain I have another item earlier I paid for today that would match this chain it is the size I need to be careful of I can't tell though if the chain is thin or medium in thickness can you please tell me I have to be careful what I am getting it is going to hold a one inch unpolished ruby pendant so you can see why I am wanting to know. Is it thin or medium chain girth please let me know thank you for helping me with my last questions can't wait to hear back.
