we slid the box open carefully and took the picture ---and replaced the lid as HannibalMissouri suggested.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT OUT OF THE BOX. As soon as it is taken out of the box it loses collector appeal!
It would be nice to see it right side up, though....

If the end flaps were sealed/taped but one of them is already broken so the doll can be carefully slid out for a full picture of her & then carefully slid back into the box again, it will not depreciate her value.
However, if maryweerth joins in bidding, by all means abide by her wishes.
