yes there will be a number on the back of the card that you call and you they ask you if you want to check the balalnce, you hit that number and type in the card number and the pin and they tell you the amount

before purchase... I don't think so.
It wouldn't be wise for the seller to give out that info
because then a dishonest person could use that info
without even needing to bid or receive the card.
