What does each come with? Does the dragon come with headset, mic & software disc?

Each has the software in the box. The adobe still has the users manual with it. The Dragon Speaking has the disc, user,s manual, and a headset. The QuickStart guide seems to be missing but it was more of a bother than a help. Once set up, if you spend a little time setting it up , the dragon speaking is pretty straightforward And if I can say that, then anybody should be able to make it work

Can Dragon be used on a laptop that doesn't have a cd/dvd rom?

You would have to use an external hard drive to load it bu then you could use it
