Description
The listing, 200 Marigold Seeds has ended.
These are dwarf marigold seed harvested this year. 150-200 dwarf marigold seeds. These seeds will bloom yellow flowers with specks of red. Open pollinated (every few days a bee or two would come by) and mostly organically grown (except for the one time I gave them a does of Schultz fertilizer when they were seedlings).
Great for attracting bees and butterflies, grows well in containers.
Questions & Comments
these are quickly becoming one of my fav flowers as they are said to keep critters away from the garden, scare away mosquitoes and serve as good food for chickens and attract bees to the garden
Oh man, yes! And I can personally attest to the bee-attraction bit. It's amazing, because I have a tiny container garden all the way in the back of my apt surrounded by nothing but concrete and iron and the things are still buzzing about there, even in November in Toronto!
amazing! my husband is deathly allergic to bee stings! poor guy but we keep a shot on standby all the time. rabbits and deer really like to invad the garden if i don't plant these near
