The listing, Genuine Diamond & Sterling Silver Ring (0.10 CTW) - Sz 7 1/4 Just in time for Valentine's Day! has ended.

I am giving away a genuine diamond & sterling silver ring, which would make the perfect Valentine's gift (to yourself or someone else)! The 1st & 3rd pics are of the ring with flash, & the 2nd & 4th pics are of the ring without flash. I counted at least twelve 1mm-sized diamonds at about 0.01 carats each, which means that there is at least 0.10 CTW worth of diamonds! The diamonds are clear and sparkly (not cloudy and mis-colored). There is a lot of diamond accent on this ring and it is super sparkly. The ring is marked "CM 925" (see pic 6), and I tried to take a picture of it, but it didn't really turn out. The ring is a size 7 1/4, according to my ring sizer stick (see pics 8 & 9).

I, personally, professionally tested the diamonds to ensure that they are authentic with two different diamond testers: a Presidium Gem Tester, which tests diamonds but does not test for moissanite, and a Diamond Nite diamond gem tester which tests for synthetic gems, diamonds, and moissanite. The diamonds passed both testers! (see the last pics)

Comes from a smoke-free, hairy pet-free home (I have a snake and gecko, but they can do no harm : ) ).

Thanks! Actually, I originally bought the testers because I used to live and work in Afghanistan. I bought a few gemstones there, and you wouldn't believe the amount of sellers who sell fake stuff! It's abhorrent. Some of the sellers are even government-sponsored, so no thinks to check their gems to make sure that they are getting the real thing (I can tell you from experience that some of them sell glass and pass the glass off as real gemstones). The buyers just plop down a ton of money and assume that the gems are genuine!

Oh, I bought the Presidium tester directly from iGem (you can google the name), and I think that I bought the Mizar Diamondnite tester from Amazon.com (I think that the Presidium Gem tester cost about $200, and the diamond/moissanite tester cost about $150, at the time). The Presidium tester tests for diamonds, but not for moissanite, so I bought a second diamond tester that also tests for moissanite (at the time, it was cheaper than buying the Presidium Duo tester, which tests for everything). I wanted a Presidium Gem tester because it also tests for gemstones, which is why I didn't just buy the diamond/moissanite tester. Plus, I like having redundancy in testing (it gives me 100% confidence that what I'm selling is the real deal).

i have a guy that works on and cleans jewlery on the side and i took some of my rings to him and had him check all the prongs that hold the gems in i lost my diamond out of my wedding ring a few months back i cried like a baby but i had had it for 19 years so after that i took them to him to check them for me as a safty percaution so i dont lose anymore

Yeah, I don't know why someone would want to return it because it is really pretty. I just have a ton of rings, and I never wear this one. Oh, I think that it would take a lot to mess up this ring (like, maybe if it were dropped down a garbage disposal that was turned on....that might do it?) It seems very well-made, in my humble opinion. :)

Oh, yes! I have A TON of sterling silver and diamond jewelry (actually, I think that I have more sterling silver/diamond jewelry than I have gold/diamond jewelry). It has become an extremely common practice to set diamond in sterling silver, ever since the price of gold skyrocketed. Go to any major jewelry company's website, and you will most likely find diamonds set in sterling silver jewelry. Sometimes, the diamonds set in sterling silver are of a lower quality. But, sometimes, they are just as beautiful and brilliant as the diamonds set in gold. The diamonds in this ring are clear and sparkly (not cloudy and gray). They are very pretty!
