The listing, Yella Umbrella "Mamselle" Vintage Brooch has ended.

Approx. 2 3/4" high x 1" wide. "MAMSELLE"
Yellow enamel on gold-tone umbrella pin with white polka-dots on the umbrella handle and canopy. Faux-pearl accent with gold-tone chain swings from handle.
Pinning mechanism securely attaches pin to jackets, raincoats, etc. I used to wear this on rainy days at the Garden where I worked- very "apropos"!
I believe this is from the late 60's to early 70's.
Please Note: Fair condition as there is some enamel-loss on the canopy of the umbrella. HOWEVER, the gold-tone is what shows through and it is still a very charming, obviously VINTAGE pin. Delicate through the stem- handle with care as it WILL BEND. Slight tarnish on the back of pin.

Hi Phena! Thanks for bidding! Got my lacey hearts today and was so happy to see that they fit on a current decoupage project I'm doing for my girlie-girl bedroom.... a small wooden ironing board- really quite cute and I guess it may have come from an old schoolhouse for Home Economics due to the size- It can be used as an ironing board (so I don't have to go downstairs and get out the big one) AND serves as a decorative small furnishing.
